“Do you see a man skillful in His work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.” (Proverbs 22:29)

The seeds of the idea of a development program dedicated to the welfare and renewal of men was planted a little over 2 years ago in a casual conversation with like-minded men of faith.  As with many new ideas, it started off with a perfectly innocent question: How are men in poverty doing?  A quick look around the communities we served showed an array of men in various stages of idleness causing the same people to ask – Do men in poverty need  a  hand up?  Have they somehow lost their rightful place in their communities and families?

We are indeed very happy that you have taken the time  to work together with us to grapple with these questions and much more.  This Forum is not intended to provide the answers but it was designed to be a platform for sharing  ideas, free flowing discussions and opportunities for prayer and reflection on how we can best serve the interests of men in poverty.

We thank God for the gift of your friendship, partnership, and your tireless service for His work, for a common vision of a world that is free from disempowerment, inequality and poverty.
