MICHAEL CANARES

 

Michael has Bachelor degrees in Accountancy and Laws, Business Education and Development Studies. He has worked in the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. 

 

Michael is currently the managing consultant for Step-Up Consulting services, offering research, financial management, and capacity building services. Clients include non-profit organizations and local government units in the Philippines.  Michael has experience as a professor, project manager, team leader (World Vision, National Evaluation Team), audit specialist and consultant in a range of areas, including monitoring and evaluation and local planning . He is also internationally published.
